Are you looking to work in a fast pace client and business facing Middle Office that is expanding? Our Equities Execution Client Ops Team is seeking a professional who is looking to collaborate with traders, clients, and internal teams to support our growing equities franchise.

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm's assets and its reputation.

Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.

EQUITIES EXECUTION SERVICES

Equity Execution Services (EES), facilitates the allocation, confirmation, and matching of cash equity trades with clients ranging from global asset managers to private banks. Clients Ops initiatives are focused on increasing STP to drive scale across the Securities business; with an emphasis on improving the client experience through quick and accurate trade confirmation. This is to be achieved in part by a multi-year system and flow convergence program, as well as consolidating functions across Operations to form a broader Equity middle office. EES is located in London, Bangalore, Salt Lake City, Jersey City, New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Sydney and comprises the following core functions.

HOW WILL YOU FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

The team has primary responsibility for equity confirmation exceptions and client service management with a key focus on efficiency, control, and enhancing the client experience. The individual will be expected to work closely with global teams and our clients to proactively manage risk, and challenge existing business processes on a day to day basis. This will include understanding and meeting the evolving expectations of key clients of the firm, and driving and following through on any efficiency initiatives to implementation.

The new hire will be expected to work in partnership with our client and sales traders to ensure that trades are allocated, confirmed, and processed in a timely manner in order to safeguard the firm's capital and reputation but also to meet the client SLAs. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, collaborate across teams, and be able to multi-task effectively. Experience of securities products as well as an operations background and client facing experience is preferred, but not essential.

BASIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability and acute attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to stakeholders and clients with differing levels of product experience
  • Self motivated and proactive Team player who takes ownership and accountability for their work and has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing demands
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
PREFERED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Cash equity middle office experience and/or equity settlement experience
  • Understanding of equity industry platforms and vendor offerings including OMEGO / CTM, MOS and Traiana
  • Client service experience
  • European Languages to a business fluency
