Our team is a fundamental part of Equities business within the Global Markets. We drive major business decisions and provide valuable analytics and recommendations to internal stakeholders as well as external clients. In this entrepreneurial role, we balance our time between building large, scalable platforms to democratize data and providing analysis and advice to the desk, management or clients. Our team has a direct impact on key revenue streams for the group. Your Impact
If you are looking for a high impact position allowing you to fully leverage your strong quantitative, analytics, programming and communication skills, then our team is the ideal opportunity for you. You will build data analytics systems and platforms and use them to identify and execute new revenue opportunities while working closely with Sales, Trading, Senior Management. You will be integrated into the activities of the trading floor and will have the opportunity to inform the decisions of senior business leaders. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities
As a member of this team, you will be expected to have a broad understanding of equities and fixed income markets and will gain detailed knowledge of various desks (Prime, 1D Execution, Derivatives, etc). This role will draw upon your knowledge of programming and analytical skills: you will be challenged to rapidly prototype early-stage solutions. You will use data-driven insights from usage patterns and user feedback to develop ideas into intuitive and efficient real-time workflow tools. You will also be expected to think strategically, proposing new business metrics or suggesting alternatives to existing processes. Who We Look For

- BS/MS or PhD in a relevant field - Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics or Finance
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python or equivalent language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver results quickly
- Comfortable working on multiple projects, demonstrating initiative and showing commercial impact
WHO WE ARE
- 3 or more years' experience in a quantitative role
- Familiarity with Equities/FICC Markets/Prime Brokerage business a plus
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g. Random Forests, TensorFlow)
- Familiarity in probability and advanced statistics a plus
- A track record of solving quantitative problems and delivering results in a high-pressure environment
