About Schroders

We're a global investment manager. We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.

We have around 5,000 people on six continents. And we've been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn't change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018, located close to our clients in the heart of the UK's financial centre. We offer flexible working appropriate for a client solutions focussed role as well as a modern working environment with onsite health and wellbeing amenities.

The team

Influencing company practices and ensuring stakeholders are duly considered is what we call active ownership. We believe that this is important as stewards of our clients' capital. Our team has been engaging with investee companies to gain insight and influence practices since 2000. Our engagement and voting activities, which define our role as an active owner, have continued to evolve. This new role has been created to support our team to achieve its goal of ESG engagement moving from an activity completed by Sustainable Investment analysts to an activity undertaken by all investors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress as active ownership is becoming an increasingly important tool to advance ESG integration across our investment teams covering all regions and asset classes.
