Working Patterns and location - This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-performance real-time systems.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and apply them effectively within projects.
• Contribute to the development of our client's Electronic Warfare software suite, creating new capabilities across a wide range of projects, including array processing, communications, and sensor systems.

Skills & experience

• Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ for embedded software development.
• Proven experience in both unit testing and system-level testing.
• In-depth knowledge of embedded Linux platform development.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps methodologies, including version control systems and continuous integration pipelines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

• Strong expertise in the design and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms.
• Experience in modelling and simulating algorithms using MATLAB.
• Proven capability in FPGA firmware development using VHDL.
• Familiarity with the latest Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms and technologies.
• A solid understanding of electronic warfare concepts and applications.
