We are looking for a ETF capital markets specialist to join our expanding entrepreneurial team in London to assist in the management and operations of First Trust ETFs

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with fund custodians to verify portfolio holdings, trades, and cash positions, as and when needed
  • Work with fund administrator to calculate and publish creation and redemption baskets, and assures accuracy of baskets
  • Work with APs/market makers to ensure accurate pricing and markets for FT ETFs, respond to queries from buy and sell side desks around FT ETFs
  • Provide support to sales force regarding general ETF questions, ETF trade support and specifics on indexes and/or funds
  • Capital markets – support in regards platforms and efficient trading of ETFs within various European platforms, exchanges and depositories
  • Work with liquidity providers and brokers to ensure efficient trading of First Trust UCITS ETF’s
  • Assist ETF Portfolio Management team with new product launches and listings

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of ETF trading mechanisms
  • Highly motivated self-starter: Enthusiasm for the industry, a positive attitude, and a drive to succeed are essential to this role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to be persuasive and succinct and to build relationships within our team, across our organization, and with our clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate industry and product knowledge. Project management and problem solving skills
  • Prior ETF capital markets experience preferred, you will be degree educated with 2 years relevant experience.
