We are looking for an organised, motivated professional to support the EMEA Procurement Operations function. The role will consist of providing assistance to the Procurement Operations Manager, as well as providing governance and support to the outsourced service provider of our daily operations
-Assist Procurement Manager with overseeing the daily functions performed by the outsourced team.
-Prepare reports for Procurement Ops Managers with updates to continuous improvement initiatives.
-Monitor that all initiatives are completed by the agreed upon target date.
-Complete appropriate due diligence to resolve any issues that would negatively affect the completion of the initiative.
-Document and escalate any issues that he/she cannot resolve on his own to the appropriate Procurement Operations manager.
-Participate in projects originated by other business groups that touch the Ariba system or the procurement process.
-Ensure purchase orders are created for all requests that are submitted to the team.-Support user training within our procurement tool Ariba on Demand and work with users to resolve procurement related issues.
-Respond to and resolve escalations
-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field.
-Source to Pay operations experience and background with electronic ordering preferred, but not essential.
-Team player and ability to work independently when required.
-Experience with electronic ordering and an understanding of the Procurement Operations functions.
-Effective communicator with client facing experience.
-Good facilitator, confident in working with others at all level.
-Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
-Self-motivated and client centric.
-Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
-Strong work ethic and drive.-Detail oriented.
