This opportunity, has arisen within a City-based asset management house. The successful candidate will be responsible for the distribution strategy of real asset products primarily to UK clients. He/she will also maintain and grow revenue and promote opportunities for future product development. This includes leading on consultant relations, engaging with strategic clients and other stakeholders, managing internal sales teams’ relationships and directing external messaging.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with prospective and current clients and their advisers to maximise new business volumes, ensuring consistency and quality of business development processes, drawing together the capabilities of Real Assets in different areas to make maximum impact
  • Planning and executing multi-tier CRM contact plans and implement across all levels of clients
  • Manage relations with designated areas of the company, ensuring the effective flow of information into and from the team. Communicate and build understanding of product relevance and messaging to CRM’s and Distribution colleagues
  • Take the leading role in selling products and investment solution based on known and prospective client requirements, in conjunction with fund investment, product specialist and solutions colleagues
  • Producing presentations, market updates, RFIs / RFPs; and driving the development of marketing strategies and materials
  • Maintain knowledge of current investment market and economic issues and the company’s views on markets.  Carry out investigations of market and competitor offerings

Skills & Experience:

·         Specialist infrastructure and real estate product knowledge

·         Fund structuring and regulations

·         Knowledge of pension investment decision making, proposing investment solutions for client portfolios

·         Business development experience within the asset management industry

·         Exceptional communication skills

·         Confident presenting to senior, internal and external, individuals

·         Tenacious and proactive

·         Rigorous attention to detail
