IHSMarkit has exciting career opportunities for a product manager, with in-dept capital markets/securities services knowledge to join our product management team. The successful candidate will join IHSMarkit as a key member of the team and will have the opportunity to work in a fast growing and challenging environment with like-minded people who are eminent in their respective field.

Within Product Management Team, you will work as part of a high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping post trade financial services organizations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role"

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead project engagements a product SME, taking the role of Business Transformation Manager to face off against clients in product implementations based on in-depth capital markets/securities services/custody business knowledge
  • Responsible for ensuring the successful business implementation of enterprise software solution
  • Drive the continued evolution of the product suite, based on in-depth capital markets/securities services/custody business knowledge
  • Involved in both the pre-sales & sales engagements with potential clients, through product engagement & demonstrations
  • Adept at managing client relationships with capability of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including CTO, COO, and CFO
  • Keep abreast of upcoming financial markets/regulatory changes impacting the capital markets/securities services/custody domains
  • Assists internal teams (BA/Dev) in building out the post trade products to address these requirements both client and market requirements


Job Requirements - "About You"

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • 20 plus years of industry experience, working in within the capital markets/securities services/custody domains or for a leading software vendor providing software solutions to capital markets/securities services/custody firms
  • Deep domain capital markets/securities services/custody business knowledge
  • Experience in leading a team of analysts/consultants with experience in large scale systems implementation/transformation programs, with the ability to develop and deliver Target Operating and Interface models
  • Thought Leadership, with the ability to lead engagements, work with key stakeholders and manage stakeholder relationships throughout the lifecycle of a transformation program
  • Experience in problem solving and change management initiatives across multiple functional areas within the capital markets/securities services/custody domain
  • Bachelor's degree related to business and/or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel as requested
