A high-quality, asset manager is seeking a leader to oversee the digital marketing function for its EMEA Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and lead the regional digital marketing strategy in Europe. The individual will have responsibility for establishing and implementing all digital strategy and tactical projects for our EMEA lines of business. The firm manages a range of strategies across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset class, private equity, real estate and hedge fund, with a range of clients, including institutions, advisors and individual investors globally. This role will report in to the Head of EMEA Marketing.

Responsibilities 

  • Build and execute on a digital marketing strategy across the EMEA region. For all externally facing digital touchpoints
  • Engage in and own digital campaigns across website, email, social media, and advertising
  • Manage day-to-day content across the region and occasionally on a global process
  • Partner with distribution heads to deliver leads and actionable insights based on digital metrics 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and the global Digital team to identify and implement best practice
  • Drive the creation of new web/digital experiences in partnership with the global Digital and Technology teams
  • Research and complete competitive analysis and to create industry-leading recommendations 
  • Manage small team, locally, in a matrix team environment, and manage external agencies when appropriate

 

Key Requirements

 

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Finance, Marketing, or Engineering. Master's degree a plus

Proven experience in a digital marketing role, with executive facing responsibility

Experience in Asset Management industry or at minimum a regulated, business-to-business industry

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing automation and email campaign deployment
  • Proficient with Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, or other top-tier web content management system. Also HTML would be a plus, and knowledge of CSS and Javascript
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems as they arise, and apply learnings to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Able to manage multiple projects, meet time-sensitive schedules, and be comfortable with shifting priorities
  • Commercial focus and understanding of how best to drive sales outcomes using digital channels
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and work with cross-functional teams, within and across regions
  • Experience working with internal and external agency/partner teams; advanced capabilities in partnering well with marketing creative and development teams
