The Opportunity
We are partnering with a recently launched multi-strategy digital assets hedge fund seeking to hire an entrepreneurial Investor Relations and Capital Raising professional. This is a unique opportunity to join an emerging investment platform at an early stage and play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's growth trajectory.
The fund has a differentiated approach to digital asset investing. Having successfully launched the business, the next phase of development is focused on building assets under management and establishing the firm's presence across the global allocator community.
This role would suit an individual who combines strong commercial instincts with a genuine interest in digital assets and a desire to help build a business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the firm's capital raising strategy across institutional and professional investor channels.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with prospective investors including family offices, fund of funds, wealth managers, investment consultants, endowments, foundations, and institutional allocators.
- Act as a key ambassador for the business, representing the firm at conferences, industry events, and investor meetings.
- Work closely with the founding partners to refine the firm's go-to-market strategy and investor proposition.
- Assist with the creation and enhancement of fundraising materials, presentations, due diligence questionnaires, and marketing collateral.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of investor opportunities and manage prospects through the fundraising cycle.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on investor sentiment, competitive dynamics, and product positioning.
- Support broader business development initiatives as the firm continues to scale.
- Help establish and institutionalise investor relations processes, reporting frameworks, and client servicing capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience within investor relations, capital raising, institutional sales, business development, or distribution within alternative investments.
- Existing network across institutional allocators, family offices, wealth managers, or private capital investors.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive new business.
- Entrepreneurial personality with a willingness to operate in a lean, high-growth environment.
- Interest in digital assets, blockchain technologies, and the evolving cryptocurrency investment landscape.
- Comfortable working directly alongside founders and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-starter with a highly proactive approach and strong ownership mentality.
