Data Scientist
Use data and analytics to understand business problems, create insight and envisage practical solutions.

You will be delivering a roadmap of data initiatives that identify efficiencies, unlock opportunities, and generate revenue. You will have access to large data sets, giving you the ability to make a tangible impact with your analysis.

Collaborating with business experts and other data scientists to shape research questions you will be sourcing and identifying relevant data sources, cleansing and prepping data and creating dashboards. You will also perform modelling and analysis using charting, descriptive statistics and machine learning.

Working with data engineers who will automate data pipelines and develop robust analytic solutions based on your work, you will be given support to expand your technical and domain skills, with mentoring and support from other Data Scientists in the team.

An ability to communicate complex concepts simply, translate outputs into actionable business insights will be critical.

You will bring an academic background with a quantitative degree (masters or PhD, ideally); an

understanding of, and ideally practical experience with, machine learning and statistics, Python or R and familiarity with databases, Excel and SQL.

Ideally you also have familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Microstrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
