My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire a Data and Tooling Lead to join the Client Reference Data Services (cRDS) programme. We are looking for a candidate with advanced SQL and Qlikview experience, as well as knowledge in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analysis and Financial Services. It is the team’s role to deliver a broad and consistent, bank wide golden source of Party reference data that is externally verifiable and validated.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Building Master Data Management (MDM) systems to digest external data sources and to create golden legal entity masterDATA
  • Evaluating data quality of vendor data and rationalising the spend based on requirements of consumers
  • Establishing Data Quality Control Infrastructure for the maintenance of legal entities by actively building out and implementing automated validation rules
  • Increasing automation and straight through processing for data quality updates and changes with the help of Master Data Management tools
  • Designing and delivering Business Intelligence dashboards to provide Management Information (MI) which allows us to track performance, progress and quality
  • Identifying system enhancements and acting as an escalation point 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analysis and Financial Services
  • Previous experience in Project management
  • Ability to work with MDM tools, Data Quality (DQ) tools and Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
  • Any MDM Tool experience (Informatica, Golden Source etc)
  • Data Quality tool (Preferred - Informatica), Data Analytics tools (like SAS, R)
  • Microsoft Office (MS) Access (Database  & Scripting), Qlikview Reports, Advanced SQL
  • Basic windows batch scripts, Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Macros
  • Well-developed relationship / stakeholder management skills
  • Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers & team members
  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level/ work experience
