Your role

Do you have experience designing and implementing practical and sustainable solutions to process challenges? Are you passionate about improving how an organization manages their data? Do you have experience working closely with senior subject matter experts in multiple business areas? We’re looking for a Data Lineage Strategy and Design Senior Analyst to:
-develop, syndicate and iterate data lineage methodology recommendations with stakeholders from across the firm,
-develop and deliver training to Data Management Office (DMO) personnel and divisional partners,
-develop responses for senior management, audit and regulators, as required,
-develop business requirements for data management tooling, and work with IT partners to prioritize and deliver high quality functionality,
-partner with peers in the Data Management Operations and KDE Onboarding teams to identify issues and propose sustainable solutions

Your team

You will be working in Group Operations within the Data Management Office (DMO). This role sits within the Data Lineage team, which operates out of Weehawken, London, Pune and Bangalore. The Data Lineage team is responsible for working directly with divisional subject matter experts, in both the business and IT, to map data flows in the organization and populate and maintain the group data dictionary. The DMO is responsible for embedding a data management culture into the organization by advocating for our strategy and proactively challenging the way the firm works with data. The DMO is made up of approximately 100 people, comprising UBS permanent staff, contractors and consultants. You will be part of a team of five people in London and Weehawken.

Your expertise

You have:
-ideally 8-12 years of experience in project management roles, with experience from requirements gathering to design and implementation
-concise and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
-experience managing priorities in a structured and organized way in a fast-paced, high-profile team
-strong analytical skills, attention to detail along with structured organization and planning skills
-hands-on experience in developing process flows, RACIs, SOPs, KPIs and SLAs
-experience leading projects, from design through implementation

-highly driven and motivated with a can–do attitude and with a desire to drive change in the organization
