Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the role will transcend underlying distribution channels and involve working closely with channel heads and their teams. Day to day activities include researching to construct and manage a pipeline of customer prospects to support sales activity, developing and managing the distribution team’s CRM system to holistically capture the sales and client management process, monitoring of and reporting on sales and client activity, undertaking market research and competitor analysis, presentation drafting and support of strategy research and presentation.

To provide business development and research support to this boutique Investment Management’s distribution team, identifying sales prospects, building a pipeline and assisting in the development of business strategy. Day to day activities include researching to construct and manage a pipeline of customer prospects to support sales activity, developing and managing the distribution team’s CRM system to holistically capture the sales and client management process, monitoring of and reporting on sales and client activity, undertaking market research and competitor analysis, presentation drafting and support of strategy research and presentation. • Analytical and evaluation skills • Research and quantitative analysis skills • Experience of CRM systems, preferably including Microsoft Dynamics • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables • Report writing, with illustrative skills • Good understanding of the sales and client management process • Project management experience • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills • Enthusiasm and drive for pursuing new opportunities and adding value • Ability to interpret complex data into easily understandable formats • Ability to think beyond the linear and be able to “join the dots” around client data management As the role reaches across all distribution channels, any proposals and developments are made with the business as a whole in mind; specifically how the firm takes forward the management of client data. The role will also provide project and support work to other sales and marketing activity as required.
