Leading financial institution seeks a sole contributor Project Manager to join their multi-year Cyber Security & Information Risk Programme. Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role requires someone who is able to influence senior stakeholders up to CISO level, but at a the same time is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and do business analysis work as well.....

Whilst Financial Services is a must, Financial Markets is a nice to have, so long as you have some experience of planning for a range of regulatory deadlines...... This coupled with good experience of at least 3 of the following 

-Threat Intelligence

-Data Encryption

- Data Loss Prevention

-Vulnerability Management 

-Application Security Testing

-CBEST/MIST or similar 

 

Essential 

  • Strong planning, organisational, and coaching skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
  • Excellent at managing and influencing a wide network of stakeholders, including senior management, who can influence and build relationships
  • Willing and able to challenge customers and stakeholders to better understand their needs
  • Strong knowledge of financial, risk, and project management methodologies & tools
  • Excellent documentation skills; ability to create high quality steering committee material

 

Preferred 

  • Global experience – working successfully with teams in multiple locations simultaneously
  • Experience and knowledge of large scale, global, change programmes and portfolio management
  • Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations
  • Background in working across a number of different sectors both business and IT related projects/programmes
  • Knowledge of technology estates and technologies desirable
