Credit Risk Manager - Acquiring
We are looking to hire a dynamic and seasoned credit risk professional to join our acquiring risk team. We want to enable our merchants to accept every payment and maintain a safe and secure payments ecosystem for cardholders.

In this role you will be responsible for the development and execution of the credit risk policy and form part of the first line of defence. Working closely in partnership with the acquiring risk leadership team you will develop data driven updates to our credit playbook and hold our first line accountable to deliver meaningful outcomes for our merchants and develop a framework that helps Revolut to be part of the growth journey for businesses of all sizes.
Your strong knowledge of financial statements and ability to assess businesses individually and as a portfolio will be your key to success within this role. We are looking for an individual with a humble approach to get the job done and test and trial hypothesis hands on.
  • Lead root cause analysis into credit risk events
  • Create frameworks where there is limited structure
  • Write procedural flows for our first line of defence
  • Maintain a credit risk register and controls
  • Build dashboards which are the source of truth and keep our fingers on the pulse
  • Conduct regular macroeconomic assessments to forecasts stress in our portfolio
  • Work with big data and with data science professionals
  • 4 years credit risk management experience - ideally in the payments space
  • Quantitative credit risk experience
  • Knowledge of credit risk mitigating products like bank guarantees, third party liability insurance, director's guarantees and others
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements including P/L, Banks Statements, Cashflow and Projections
  • Strong partnerships experience with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills and capacity to get people motivated
  • Knowledge of the payments space and all key players including issuers, acquirers, merchants and networks
  • Have a strong desire to change traditional business banking
  • Capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business or Commerce or a relative field to Data and Mathematics
