Credit Risk, Credit Data Integrity and Governance Analyst

Our Credit team assesses the credit risk on lending and trading transactions. It allocates credit limits for counterparties and countries, develops procedures for measuring credit exposures and reviews the adequacy of legal documentation. This team is responsible to independently identify, assess, and determine acceptability of the risk of loss arising from credit and equity exposures on a risk/return basis.

In this role you will be part of the global Credit Data Integrity and Governance team and will be responsible for helping to enhance the current data integrity portfolio and documenting critical data elements and full data governance mapping. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure accurate credit data integrity and governance is available for decision making, portfolio and regulatory reporting.

You will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills to develop an understanding of our businesses and the data to support analysis/reporting. You will also hone your risk mindset to be able to comprehend and define key risks/controls.

This team is responsible for:
  • Building KPI metrics to understand data governance and areas of focus.
  • Designing monitoring mechanisms to ensure data policies and principles are embedded in business-as-usual activities.
  • Reviewing, improving and automating current data and reporting processes using new technologies.
  • Using Enterprise data management tools to present information.
  • Creating clear documentation and guidance of processes.

We want to hear from you if you have 0-2 years' experience within a data centric role, high attention to detail and enjoy working with a high volume of critical data points. In this role you will be working with a range of technologies including Microsoft Office, SQL, Alteryx or other data analytical tools for example Collibra. Alongside technical and analytical skills, you will hone your written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively tailor communications to a diverse range of business and technical stakeholder groups.
