We are looking for an independent associate-level candidate with a genuine interest for financial markets and corporate developments. The candidate we are looking for needs to have a passion for investing, communication & relationship building and ready to join a team where he/she will be generating ideas and facilitating the effective delivery of credit opinions to external parties. Experience in front-office investment banking roles or research agencies is needed.
Conducting fundamental research
Produce regular written reports on possible bond investments (including research views for external client consumption) as well as monitoring existing holdings.
Contribute to investment discussions on team's strategy and new projects.
Analysing industry trends and sharing any insights with the rest of the credit research team/internal clients (DCM, Sales, Trading and Syndicate)
Participate in external client roadshows across Europe and the US to share team views and recommendations.
Other day-to-day tasks include monitoring relevant newsflow for the countries, sectors and companies under our team's research coverage.
Contribute to the development of the credit research function, improving methods and tools used.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Finance Related, Engineering, Law
Postgraduate Ideally, Related To The Industry. Would Be Considered As A Plus, But Not Excluding.
Investment banking or rating agency background
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
Market and Fixed Income investment knowledge
Quantitative skillset to analyse data
Well-organised and detail-oriented.
Strong client-service orientation / people skills.
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues of all seniorities and areas.
Ability to integrate rapidly into an international team. Willingness to travel / market hours.
