Corporate Access is a critical division of the Cash Equity business, facilitating the interaction between corporate and institutional investors. Our corporate access team helps our corporate clients by providing a value-added advisory service and our investor clients by giving them access to the management of the companies they invest in.

We can offer an attractive learning opportunity in a creative and entrepreneurial corporate culture to join a growing and Number 1 ranked Corporate Access team. We are looking for a candidate with past Investor Conference experience who can also manage other Corporate Access events such as Non-Deal Roadshows, Expert & Strategic Access, Field Trips and Bespoke Investor Trips.

YOUR MISSIONS

Corporate Access Management:

Manage any of the following events: Investor Conferences, Non-Deal Roadshows, Expert & Strategic Access, Field Trips and Bespoke Investor Trips from pre-planning through execution and post-event wrap up, in close co-operation with the Sales, Spec Sales and Research teams.

You will be the Corporates primary contact from Exane BNPP and assist them with the planning and set up of which ever event they are participating in. Building and maintaining frequent relationships between the IR teams is a daily priority. 

Process between the various types of events will change; but key duties always include all or some of the key duties below:

  • Manage targeting, schedule formatting (1x1’s vs groups, time slots etc) and other key logistics that are needed before launching to Sales. Share with the IR team best practices and make suggestions based on their size, sector and investor demand levels.
  • Build the meeting schedule according to the targets and monitor its progress. Take ownership of the schedule / event and ensuring it goes smoothly, highlight internally and to the IR team if it’s at risk ahead of time.
  • Coordinate the Sales desks and Research teams to ensure our events are advertised internally and externally correctly. Build your internal relationships with the Salesforce and Analysts.
  • Coordinate all logistics in person events including booking meetings venues, ground transport, AV, catering, invoices, onsite management as well as strict budget control of each events. Negotiating with vendor providers (catering, AV, hotels…). On the day provide on-site support to welcome Corporate representatives and investors to ensure in person events run smoothly.
  • Manage all aspects of a virtual events leading up to and including the live Fireside Chat sessions and 1x1 & Group Meeting Video Calls. Organise technical tests with all the corporates in advance of the event, and then during the event working in conjunction with the IT team and CRM team responsible for the live stream of Fireside Chat. Welcome the speakers in the panellist virtual room, sometimes doing a brief introduction before handing over to the moderator and managing Q&A. Update the central system with final attendees and organise the replays if required.
  • Reporting statistics on attendee figures, comparison versus previous years, etc.
  • Originate ideas with our Research & Sales teams - on a theme, initiation, recent note etc.
  • Develop and update Exane BNP Paribas’s access products (pitchbook, flyers, etc.) with the aim of increasing our market share of this business.

PROFILE                     

  • Good knowledge of the financial services industry and its players
  • At least 3 years’ experience running all or a few types of events Non-Deal Roadshows, Expert & Strategic Access, Conferences, Field Trips and Bespoke Investor Trips in an investment banking environment
  • Excellente communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiator and relationship builder
  • Client-focused and professional
  • Strong logistics skills in all geographies inc Europe, UK and US
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Team player
  • Take pride in delivering top events
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a pressured environment, whilst keeping calm and flexible approach to handling pressure
  • Languages are an advantage
  • Proficient in the use of Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Dealogic, CRM.
