Role Description:
  • Act as the Senior / Lead developer with a team of 3 other developers.
  • Working with Operations and Business Analysts on new changes / developments, including technical and functional specifications, development and supporting testing and implementations.
  • Implement / Deploy configurations, code changes across all environments including production with the appropriate approvals as per Jefferies release management processes.
  • L3 Production Support activities including (but not limited to) diagnosis, investigation , resolution provision, co-ordination with team lead, business, infrastructure support and vendors.
  • Interact with business and tech lead/product managers for production issues during non-onsite hours
  • MQ, Tivoli jobs setup and production support.
Skills & Expertise:

Mandatory

  • Knowledge of Back Office systems for settlement and book-keeping (e.g. Gloss) or Swift messaging systems and processes.
  • .NET/C#
  • Web Services, XML
  • MS SQL Server
Desirable
  • Knowledge of Equities, FI / Derivative Instruments.
  • Understanding of Collateral management processes.
  • Understanding of Corporate Actions processes.
  • WinForms
  • TWS
  • Sybase or Oracle
  • ServiceNow experience.
