Job Description
Consumer Insights Lead | Initial 3m Contract With Potential Extension | £500pd | FMCG | Food Market | Interviewing Immediately

My client a global player in the FMCG food market and they are currently recruiting for a Consumer Insight Lead on a contract basis for an initial 3m contract with the potential for extension.

In this position you will be responsible for a number of insight projects, working within the International Consumer Insights team and closely within the International Category teams, as the consumer insights lead you will be responsible for a range of ongoing projects.

In brief you will be contributing significantly to stepping up the company's game in anticipating future consumer needs and ensuring that they are top of the game against their competitors.

Main Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work with the Marketing & Category teams to turn insights into meaningful actions for;
  • Consumer & shopper marketing
  • Informing brand activation strategies/Brand innovation road maps
  • Category management initiatives
  • Manage continuous and adhoc budget and build strong agency relationships
  • Manage standard brand equity studies, annual audit, brand tracking
  • Lead category media modelling and drive insight and application across the business
  • Utilise tools, training and frameworks to run innovation projects and workshops

Key skills & Experience
  • Degree qualified
  • An experienced Insights Lead with an established proven track record in consumer insights
  • Industry experience; Consumer, FMCG and retail industries (client side)
  • Highly experienced in consumer research
  • Must have had exposure across the full range of consumer research disciplines; Qual, Quant, Innovation and Business Analytics
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to prepare reports and presentations
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong key stake holder relationship management skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Resilient, customer focused, results driven and can work effectively under pressure
