Our client, a top-ranked global real estate investment fund, is looking to hire a Compliance Associate / Paralegal to join its growing London team. Established for over 30 years, the firm possesses an impressive portfolio consisting of industrial, commercial and residential properties across both the European and US markets. Reporting to the Head of UK, you will have a lot of autonomy overseeing the compliance and secretarial functions for a team that is tasked with the operational management of the European real estate investment platform. The role will offer plenty of exposure and allow you significant exposure to both internal and external senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal or Compliance professional with experience in the real estate space to become an integral member of a very high-performing team.

  • Know your client process as part of the real estate and financial transactions
  • Formation and maintenance of special purpose entities to facilitate real estate investments within the UK
  • Tracking transaction deadlines from contracts and other documentation for acquisitions, dispositions and financings
  • Checklists and coordination of documents and diligence for real estate finance transactions
  • Preparation and coordination of various documents to support business activities including real estate portfolio summaries and board resolutions
  • Coordinate with external advisors, including legal, accounting, AIFM, depository and Board of Directors
  • Coordination of board signatures in multiple jurisdictions to meet transaction and operational deadlines
  • Organise corporate electronic and physical files for various entities

  • Significant experience within real estate and financing transactions
  • Intimate knowledge of AIFM operational requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
