Position Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Compensation Manager will support and manage strategy development, design, implementation,
administration, and governance of compensation programs for Europe and Asia Pacific. This role will ensure all
programs align with strategic objectives, are effective in attracting, rewarding and retaining key talent, and are
fully with local legal and regulatory requirements. This is a collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with
business leadership, Human Resources, Finance, and Legal and Compliance to understand business issues and
collectively develop business solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Support the development and management a global compensation strategy that is fully aligned
with the objectives of the business plan, motivates performance, is fiscally responsible, and
supports the attraction and retention of high performing talent.
? Design and implement corporately aligned and locally relevant compensation programs in
collaboration with HR, business unit, and local market leadership.
? Efficiently and effectively execute core corporate compensation processes including job
architecture and compensation structure design and maintenance, management of merit and
incentive planning, market analysis, key hire offers, and variable pay program governance
support.
? Provide support for all European regulatory reporting (i.e. regular updates to regional
Compensation Committee and Board).
? Oversee the communication and education of compensation programs to ensure understanding
by employees.
? Partner with corporate and business unit human resources in the analysis and resolution of
compensation related issues.
? Ensure the capability to assess local market trend information to ensure compensation programs
are competitive and responsive to both corporate and local business unit needs.
? Assess the efficiency of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures,
recommending plan revisions as needed, in support of the strategic objectives and evolving
external requirements.
? Stay current on compensation trends and serve as the subject matter expert and technical
resource on all compensation related matters.
? Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business leadership and HR teammates.
? Provide expert subject matter advice and involvement in support of M&A and divestiture
activities.
? Oversee compensation related vendor relationships, negotiating services and managing costs.
? Lead, develop, and mentor junior Compensation Consultants

Position Requirements:

BA/BS in related field; an MBA is preferred.
? Financial services experience is preferred.
? Excel proficiency is required; Access or compensation system experience preferred.
? Workday experience is preferred.
? CCP preferred.
? 5+ years' experience leading a global compensation function (design and delivery).
? Exceptional analytical, executive engagement, and presentation skills.
? Experience implementing change in a dynamic, multi-business, global environment.
? Aptitude for balancing multiple priorities with strong organization and prioritization capability
? Exceptional ability to build consensus and buy in across a wide range of constituents
