Our client a financial services organisation are recruiting a Company Secretarial Team Assistant to provide company secretarial support for a period of twelve months to the Group and Deputy Company Secretary. The successful candidate will play an active role in providing a consistently high level of administrative services to the organisation and projecting a professional and positive image of the department and governance as a whole.

Our client a financial services organisation are recruiting a Company Secretarial Team Assistant to provide company secretarial support for a period of twelve months to the Group and Deputy Company Secretary. The successful candidate will play an active role in providing a consistently high level of administrative services to the organisation and projecting a professional and positive image of the department and governance as a whole.

The main responsibilities will include providing administrative support, including diary management, filing, invoices, expenses, mailings, couriers and printing. Proactively supporting the Company Secretarial Team in providing company secretarial services to the Group of companies and ensuring compliance with UK and overseas statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act 2006 (PRA, FCA and Lloyd's requirements); as well as ensuring compliance with the Group's own Corporate Governance and Internal Control Framework.

Other duties will include maintaining and updating the Company Registers and Blueprint for all subsidiary companies and copy Company Books for the overseas subsidiaries. Arranging and administering board and committee meetings within the corporate governance structure including regular recurring meetings and 'ad hoc' meetings. Maintaining the Company Secretariat intranet page and other ad hoc duties as required.

Suitable candidates will be of graduate level or equivalent with some previous experience gained within insurance, financial services, the professions or other highly regulated industry. With excellent time management skills you must be a self-starter, with the ability to work without extensive supervision and administrative support but also have a collaborative approach and enjoy being part of a small team.
