Commodities and Global Markets - Distillates Analyst - Geneva
Join our Distillates team as an Analyst within our Energy Markets Division (EMD) within the Commodities & Global Markets (CGM) group, based in Geneva
You will work closely with traders and analysts based in Geneva as well as time zone coverage of the US and Asia, you’ll assist members of the Trading team with day to day procedures and operations. You’ll provide analytical support to the team and will have the opportunity to assist in the trading process. Your analytical focus will be on global distillates markets, including jet fuel . There will also be opportunity to build and improve analytical models to improve the team’s trading capabilities.
We are seeking an outstanding Analyst who has the potential to make a positive contribution to our organisation. You will be able to use your experience of using your university degree in Finance / Engineering or a quantitative discipline, and show your proven experience in petroleum which will be highly regarded. You will have experience in distillates, jet and refining markets.
Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) provides clients with an integrated, end-to-end offering across global markets including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and commodities.
Utilising our trading presence in oil and oil products, natural gas, power, carbon emissions and coal products, Macquarie combines activities in the physical and financial markets to create highly effective and bespoke risk management solutions for clients across the energy asset class. We also provide clients with direct market access to the physical markets in European Gas and Power.
