The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for the firm's overall objectives of enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of cybersecurity services to Deloitte member firms through regional delivery hubs and a Global Fusion Center. The cloud security architect role is a senior architect role within the organization that is highly strategic and will be responsible for providing highest level of security architecture direction for all globally led initiatives. This person will play a key role in ensuring consistent implementation of security controls and design principles are used across Deloitte globally, and to help understand where our data resides, and how they are protected.
The role requires industry knowledge, leadership and collaboration skills to work with Channel Directors, Engagement Leads, Technical Delivery Managers, Architects etc. in a cross functional environment. Works with business leadership and managers and recommends emerging technologies and appropriate technical approaches for solutions. May serve internal or external clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Cloud security subject matter expert (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across multiple cloud providers including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and on-premises data centre implementations
•Review of large O365 email systems with hundreds of domains and third party email filtering products.
•Review cloud technology designs with GTS architects and engineers, focusing on security design, network architectures, security policies and standards, cybersecurity risk frameworks & data protection, taking local and regional regulatory requirements into account (e.g. residency & privacy)
•Work with Cybersecurity, GTS Shared Services teams and member firms on practical implementation of cloud security architectures and capabilities
•Perform vendor evaluations and proof of concepts for service improvements, in-flight projects and emerging technologies

•Bachelor's degree in business administration, a technology-related field, equivalent education-related experience or industry experience in a similar role
•Previous experience in a senior security architect type role and have held a position in a management and leadership role
•Experience implementing and designing security controls for Microsoft O365 technologies across multi-geographic regions including: Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Teams
•Experience implementing and designing security controls for Amazon Web Services and Azure Cloud IaaS & PaaS services in multi-region, large enterprise environments
•Experience with reviewing and recommending security controls for SaaS products, and integrating them securely with on-premises environments where required
•Experience working in a matrix model, as the security architect will be required to support and lead specific cybersecurity initiatives, as well as act as an advisor & subject matter expert in non-cybersecurity led initiatives and projects, across multiple regions or organizational functions
•Working with individuals across different time zones and understanding cultural differences
•Awareness of globally developed and deployed cloud based services (IaaS) with regard to cross region data flows and implications with regard to data residency, privacy and access
•Ability to build positive working relationship, team building skills and facilitation skills
•Knowledge and experience of Information Security Risk and Security governance Preferred
•Cloud specific certifications desirable (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure)
•Professional security management certification strongly desirable, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA), SABSA certified or other similar credentials Your service line: Deloitte Global
