Client experience Product manager, Digital strategy, CFS
Working across business, operations and technology, the UX product manager will be responsible for facilitating the definition of user journeys to then define and implement the digital user experience globally across Custody and Fund Services.
Job Background / Context:
  • Citi is driving a period of sustained change in a complex and challenging market environment.  This role entails focus on one of the major initiatives in Global Custody and Funds Services (CFS)  to drive our data and digital strategy
  • Our CFS strategy is to be the best in class across the key CFS services of Custody, Fund Administration, Middle Office & data delivery & reporting. The ethos is to leverage and configure state of the art technologies and advanced techniques to deliver the strategic data and client servicing model.  
  • The role will be central to the delivery of the data & digital strategic program
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate the definition of the user journey across personas for clients and internal users globally.
  • Design and implement the navigation, landing page, experience in line with the user journey defined above, using the Citi Velocity framework and standards.
  • Maintain an understanding of the global user community and define metrics to measure success
  • Implement and report on metrics, using analysis of metrics and feedback to feed into improving the user experience.
  • Implement user & client forums as appropriate to derive feedback on an ongoing basis and continually improve the product
  • Oversee Technology deliverables to ensure the quality of delivery and user experience as a result.
  • Ensure that responsibilities are documented and well understood for governance structure across Operations, Technology and Product, and that a plan is documented and managed against
  • Ensure robust communication channels with key stakeholders and that delivery expectations are effectively managed and understood
  • Provide clear communication to program on risks, issues and associated impediments to development and delivery milestones
  • Manage and govern across virtual data teams across Operations and Technology and Product
Skills & experience:
  • Strong understanding of user experience best practices, protocols and emerging trends
  • Proven track record in successful programs whereby a strong quality user experience has been delivered
  • Background in financial services focusing on asset servicing including custody and Fund services
  • Able to facilitate a 'one team' approach to development/delivery across business and technology and operations
  • Strong management of  expectations and communicate to senior stakeholders
Education Qualifications Graduate Level (in Finance, Commerce or Equivalent Discipline) or equivalent Professional Qualification
Purpose:
Working across business, operations and technology the data product manager will be responsible for the analysis of data sets to define optimal sourcing and ensure quality and appropriate governance is implemented across the organization, both systemically and procedurally.

  • Our CFS strategy is to be the best in class across the key CFS services of Custody, Fund Administration, Middle Office & data delivery & reporting. The ethos is to leverage and configure state of the art technologies and advanced techniques to deliver the strategic client servicing model.  
  • The role will be central to the delivery of the data strategy program .
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Define & implement the governance structure across Operations, technology and Product to ensure a robust data framework to embed quality processes and protocols
  • Review & analyse all new data sources to ensure identification of optimal sourcing arrangements from underlying systems and any required calculations
  • Ensure that data lineage and all meta data components are analysed and documented, and that there is consistency across the data sets
  • Ensure that metrics are implemented for measuring quality of data and rectifying and resolving issues at source
  • Ensure that responsibilities are documented and well understood for governance structure across Operations, Technology and Product, and that a plan is documented and managed against
  • Ensure robust communication channels with key stakeholders and that delivery expectations are effectively managed and understood
  • Provide clear communication to program on risks, issues and associated impediments to development and delivery milestones
  • Manage and govern across virtual data teams across Operations and Technology and Product
Skills & experience:
  • Strong understanding of data, lineage, and data protocols and systemic and procedural resolution approaches
  • Proven track record in successful data programs whereby new data infrastructures have been implemented
  • Experience of successful business process reengineering
  • Background in financial services focusing on asset servicing including custody and Fund services
  • Able to facilitate a 'one team' approach to development/delivery across business and technology
  • Strong management of  expectations and communicate to senior stakeholders
