Based in offices in London, this role will form part of a team dedicated to performing the role of Facility Agent under syndicated loan facilities. Client Service Manager, Loan Agency

Excellent opportunity for an individual with solid knowledge of Loan Agency and Syndicated Loans and strong experience of Client Service to join a leading international Bank.  Based in offices in London, this role will form part of a team dedicated to performing the role of Facility Agent under syndicated loan facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients/deals, ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of client relationships related directly to syndicated loan deals on which the Company is appointed as facility agent.
  • Working with internal teams from mandate, to ensure that the onboarding and closing of a deal is professionally executed and that potential operational issues are flagged and addressed in advance; building and developing client relationships and being the main point of contact for escalation of issues.
  • Displaying a strong client service work ethic, ensuring that customer requirements are understood and that Company requirements and processes are explained. 
  • Having full deal oversight, as well as managing non-operational aspects of deals (including deal closing process, managing of amendments, waivers and consent with internal and external parties) and acting as a focal point for deal issue escalation. 
  • Developing strong client relationships.
  • Displaying a strong understanding of risk control matters.  
  • Providing advice and guidance for less experienced members of the team as required.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in a comparable role.
  • Strong understanding of the Syndicated Loan Market.
  • Experience of using LoanIQ beneficial.
  • Client focussed, with a proven record of commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong time management and presentation skills.
