Chief of Staff for CEO, European Private Equity Firm, London, UK

This will suit someone who is happy to regularly work 16-18 hour days, in a unique, demanding, entrepreneurial and rewarding role. We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work with the CEO of a large European buyout firm. This role will be based in London with some international travel. Our client is a top-tier private equity firm which invests globally. They are looking for a Chief of Staff to work with their CEO. The role is based in London with some international travel. This is an exciting, fast-paced, challenging, demanding and rewarding role for a high-performer to take on.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation and facilitation of CEO meetings
  • Coordination of projects or commitments directly involving the CEO and his direct reports
  • Managing teams related to the CEO's ongoing priorities and special projects
  • Development of draft communication on behalf of the CEO or research in support of the communication
  • Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the CEO's commitments
  • Support the executive team's communication with the CEO


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience of working on private equity transactions is preferred, gained in one or more of the following: law, transaction services, corporate finance, strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity
  • Candidates must be happy to work long hours
  • Candidates with backgrounds in public sector policy (or similar) may also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and leadership abilities
  • Discretion
  • Comfortable dealing with senior members of staff such as board members
  • Diplomatic, driven, flexible and resilient
  • Excellent academic track record
  • Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills
