Chief Financial Officer, Offshore Wind Development - Green Investment Group
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic Green Investment Group (GIG) and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
In this newly created role, you will report to the Chief Executive of GIG's global Offshore Wind business as an active advisor with responsibility for the financial management of its worldwide offshore wind operations and investment portfolio. You will build and lead the Finance function and the delivery of robust financial systems, processes and reporting as the business looks to move to the next phase of growth in becoming a global market leader.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive, the broader leadership team and external partner organisations to support the development, construction, and management of Offshore Wind projects, taking accountability for financial planning and reporting, capital management and funding, and for ensuring that the Green Investment Group's standards of financial control are incorporated into all projects across multiple jurisdictions.
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience of building and leading the finance function in a fast-moving, multi-jurisdictional business together with a strong financial management and reporting background. You will be a qualified Accountant (Ideally CA, ACCA, ACA) with 10+ years of experience within the Offshore Wind, or renewables industry. You will need to have had exposure to hedge accounting, project finance and control and capital management with strong, general technical accounting knowledge.
