Channel Marketing Manager – Iberics

A successful global asset manager is currently searching for Marketing Manager to cover the Iberics and LATAM channels. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, plus a good amount of experience within financial services, ideally asset management.

Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated marketing strategy development and support for Spain, Portugal and Andorra, covering wholesale and institutional channels
  • Preparation of marketing kits for funds sold in Spain, promotional emails and digital newsletters to share translated thought leadership and investment expertise-related content with clients and prospects
  • Launch of a dedicated website and relevant social channels to promote the brand locally
  • Work closely with overseas Sales teams - proactive approach with capability to propose the right thematic focus based on what is being done in other regions but also what the competition is doing in Spain and what the local market is focused on
  • Act as a Product Marketing manager for specific investment teams
  • Provide light support to the LATAM-US offshore sales teams. 

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years' marketing experience within asset management, preferably in marketing
  • Comfortable with digital marketing tools (email automation, social media, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish markets : key competitors, events, client types
  • Fluent Spanish speaker with a particular emphasis on written skills and knowledge of the financial market terminology and with experience working with sales teams
  • Very good level of written and spoken English - French a plus
  • Client-focused, but with an appreciation for the wider company objectives
  • Very organised and with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team-player who is able to work independently – enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude
