A Business Transformation Manager is needed to manage the implementation of a new distribution framework and complete a review of service providers (Fund administrator, trustee, custody, currency etc.) to enhance the current operating model for HSBC Management (Guernsey) Limited ("HMG") :-

  1. HMG Distribution Framework
  • To undertake a review of current distributors and assign to new agreed models
  • Ensure distribution agreements are produced to support the new model
  • Document standardized process for on-boarding and on-going management of distributors
  • Assign Global Relationship Bankers ("GRB") to external distributors and agree service provision with GRBs
  • Oversee production of legal agreements for the GRB services
  • Transition existing distributors to the new model
  • Manage rollout of updated processes into BAU
  • Seek to leverage broader AMG framework for deployment
  1. HMG Service Provider Review
  • In conjunction with the Investment Advisor, define a Request For Proposal ("RFP") for the following services
  • Fund Administration
  • Custody
  • Currency
  • Co-ordinate dissemination of the RFP and collation of responses
  • Review responses and carry out site visits to challenge responses and complete assessment of potential service providers
  • Recommend preferred supplier, documenting rationale
  • Oversee the decision to elect a preferred supplier
  • Begin supplier due-diligence and initiate project with leads in HMG, HAIL, existing provider and new supplier if existing supplier are not the preferred option
  • Manage activities to migrate to a new supplier, implement enhanced service provision with existing supplier (As applicable)
  • Define BAU processes to support service provision and oversight of supplier
  • Manage rollout of updated processes into BAUThe role requires an individual who has:
  • experience of products and operations within the alternatives industry
  • strong project management background
  • previously completed a service review and supplier selection processes
  • understands the role of distributors and has previously managed distributors or supported the management of distributors in an operational capacity
  • process design experience
  • technology driven thinker
  • forward thinking
  • commercial acumen
  • experience in executing change in a cross functional organisation hierarchy
  • strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • can work at pace.

Frequent travel to Guernsey is a requirement.
