This is a newly created position that will support the Head of Corporate Development & Communications with strategic initiatives and planning as Jupiter enters the next phase of growth and delivery of its five year plan

Jupiter’s Corporate Development and Communications team is responsible for the following functions:

  •  Coordinating Jupiter’s corporate strategic planning and implementation process;
  • Monitoring and analysing industry and competitor news and trends to inform business development discussions and decisions;
  • Developing the more strategic aspects of shareholder engagement;
  • Supporting the sourcing, coordination and execution of corporate transactions in line with the firm’s strategy;
  • Developing corporate communications strategy and its implementation which includes Jupiter’s existing internal and corporate communications and global media relations

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • This is a newly created position that will support the Head of Corporate Development & Communications with strategic initiatives and planning as Jupiter enters the next phase of growth and delivery of its five year plan
  • Research and analysis of market developments and trends
  • Perform analyses of new strategic opportunities to facilitate Executive Committee review and decision making
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on corporate development strategies
  • Work closely with senior internal colleagues on corporate development opportunities
  • Relevant experience in either a professional services, consultancy or banking environment;
  • Keen interest in the Investment Management industry;
  • Good understanding of basic financial accounting concepts
  • Excellent IT proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
  • An aptitude and enthusiasm for process improvement and new technologies;
  • Good stakeholder management and relationship building skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proactive, self-motivated with a creative and practical approach to problem solving
  • Flexible and team orientated;
  • Keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
