The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Business Development Manager to focus on maintaining and building Intermediary / IFA Relationship accounts.
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for business development with this Intermediary panel and represent and be able to talk about all Investment Management products that is offered by the firm. This includes investment management solutions, Discretionary Fund Management and an Investment Platform.
This role will suit a driven and ambitious individual who already has some experience building relationships with the IFA / Intermediary market. Investment Product training will be available, however it is important that the individual already has knowledge of selling investment related or investment platform products.
Speaking with IFA’s and intermediary to upsell these products to an agreed list of existing key accounts.
The Business Development Executive will be proactive in working with the Business Development Manager to review and discuss intermediary panel development and accomplishments.
Join the Business Development Manager on field-based visits to IFA’s and intermediaries.
The Business Development Executive will also assist with regional event planning and targeting campaign follow ups.
Ensure all Intermediary panel ownerships are accurately recorded and updated in the CRM system.
2-3 years minimum Business Development , Sales Support experience selling to IFA / Intermediary sector within Financial Services.
Knowledge of retail Investment Funds would be highly desired – however product training will also be available.
Commercially aware of IFA / Intermediary sector.
Ambitious with strong Relationship Management skills.
Organisation and time management skills.
Great telephone manner and ability to build trust.
Ideally qualified with a Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or similar) or Investment Management Diploma – or willing to complete relevant qualification.
