Salary: £140,000 + Annual Bonus

The historic credit fund, which has been investing in both hedge fund and private credit strategies for c.15 years is hiring a Business Development Director to capitalise on market-leading performance in 2020 and a fantastic year of raising assets across Europe.

To be considered for this market-leading highly sought Business Development Director position you must have expertise across credit strategies and a deep investor network across North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead, define and implement the business development function for North America;
  • To build out a pipeline of prospective investors with the capacity to invest in alternatives credit spaces;
  • To add experience, knowledge and expertise to the global business development push
  • To represent the blue-chip brand with an impressive technical understanding of a multitude of credit products;
  • To attend regular meetings with the key prospective and existing investors;
  • To manage relationships with both existing and potential investors, updating them on the firm's leading activities and performance.

Key Requirements

  • To have extensive fundraising experience across private and public credit strategies;
  • To have a deep investor-network across North American pensions, endowments, family offices, pension funds, financial institutions, and consultants.
  • To have a highly technical understanding of alternative credit products.
  • To have high-level written and verbal communication skills;
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a wider team;
  • C.7+ years of experience working.
