This London based position brings strong communication and project management skills to support Acadian’ sales and consultant relations process in the UK. Aspects of this role include preparing meeting materials, communicating with prospects and consultants, writing meeting notes, executing follow up, competitor analysis, and generally ensuring the sales and consultant message is as effective as it can be. This position is ideal for a dedicated, energetic, and confident individual who is passionate about the investments industry and is seeking a long-term career in institutional business development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the UK Business Development team on various aspects of the relationship building and sales processes across UK institutional investors and consultants.
  • Schedule and track meetings and conference calls in conjunction with UK Business Development team.
  • Oversee and prepare investor meeting materials.
  • Ensure RFPs are coordinated internally and have input into final messaging.
  • Attend investor meetings, write meeting notes, and ensure follow-up is completed, from simple tasks through to more complex analytical/quantitative analysis.  
  • Work collaboratively with internal groups and ensure effective communication in a timely and organized fashion
  • Coordinate prospect and consultant communication.
  • Undertake research on target markets, identifying potential clients and suitable strategies.
  • Cold call and develop sales opportunities.
  • Be actively involved in ad-hoc projects.
  • Work with the team to improve/customize marketing and client material.


We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; IMC preferable and working towards the CFA is desirable.
  • 2-4 years of investment industry experience.
  • Experience within an investment management firm or investment consultant is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Well organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with a variety of colleagues in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong service mentality to respond quickly and professionally to prospect and team needs.
