Our client is a front to back office capital markets fintech with a strong buy side proposition and client base, they are scaling for growth and also developing new market solutions. One of these areas is the development of a regtech proposition with the building of a post trade transaction reporting solution for asset managers, hedge funds and investment banks. As part of the product management team their next hire is a Business Analyst to play a lead role in development of this new platform.
It's a varied high profile role working with various stakeholders as an integral member of the software development life cycle product management team to gather requirements, create business requirement / functional specification documentation, wireframes and workflow diagrams for the developers, through to assisting with QA testing and writing user documentation etc. There really is the opportunity to play a key role in building from scratch and creating ‘something special’ with this fintech firm.
Appropriate applicants will have the following skills & experience:
- Experience as a regulatory transaction reporting systems Business Analyst with either a technology vendor, consultancy, trade respository or financial institution.
- Within the regulatory domain we are specifically looking for trade & transaction reporting experience, deep EMIR experience is a pre-requisite and any of the following in addition to EMIR would be a benefit; SFTR, MiFIR, SFTR or MMSR etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to think about technology functionality in conjunction with business, customer and market needs today and into the future.
- A driven and determined attitude conducive to a dynamic high growth business environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact.
