Business Analyst - Manager
We're looking for strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn new skills quickly in a fast-paced and exciting work environment. This team often operates under tight deadlines and so resilience and time management are also important attributes for this role. You will be working in a diverse team across multiple geographical locations in a fast-paced, challenging environment. To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivated individual, possess excellent communication skills, exceptional problem solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
Working as part of an Agile team, collaborating closely with colleagues across geographic locations & time zones to achieve a common goal. Analysing technical, business and regulatory requirements, implementing regulatory solutions and remediation across EMEA regulations, notably EMIR & MiFID II. Defining and documenting functional requirements. Creating user stories, working closely with stakeholders such as developers and testers to ensure requirements are delivered in a timely manner. We require the successful candidate to challenge, innovate and help drive delivery and help shape our technical direction.
Skills / experience required:
We are actively seeking a candidate with experience of working in a regulatory reporting environment that also has working knowledge of the MiFID II regulation, e.g TR, PTR, RTS 23, RTS 27. Possesses the ability to converse with a wide range of audiences including business stakeholders and delivery teams at varying levels of seniority. Can confidently demonstrate best practice from both a business analysis and a technology delivery perspective. Readily able to work effectively as part of a delivery team whilst having the capability to work autonomously and manage a significant part of a project deliverable. Self-starter with a high level of accountability, proven time management and planning abilities which will allow for task dependencies and critical paths to be identified with appropriate milestones determined.
Previous experience in a major strategic programme or programmes, dealing with technical impacts to internal processes, ideally within an Agile / Scrum working environment. Knowledge of the PpML messaging format. Strong, hands-on experience of EMIR reporting as well as DTCC and UnaVista for EMIR and MiFID reporting. A background in development / engineering would be highly desirable, this would allow the successful candidate to lead technical discussions and drive solutions whilst also being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from a non-technical background.
