The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting project manager(s) in the successful delivery of relevant business change programmes. This will often require working with a cross section of stakeholders (internally & occasionally externally). The specifics of the role can vary project to project and there is an expectation of continuous learning in the role.

Summary:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting project manager(s) in the successful delivery of relevant business change programmes. This will often require working with a cross section of stakeholders (internally & occasionally externally). The specifics of the role can vary project to project and there is an expectation of continuous learning in the role. 

What you’ll do:

  • A variety of activities depending on the project needs; including gathering and analysing data, developing and shaping key project deliverables, support the testing and implementation of specific solutions
  • Identify and present solutions to potential issues that may arise over the project lifecycle
  • Capture, consolidate, and communicate the information from the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements
  • Ensure project risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables are managed effectively to resolution and where necessary escalated
  • Work with a cross section of internal stakeholders to ensure delivery
  • Support accurate and on time reporting of key project status (costs, benefits and resource needs) – as required

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Experience working in a change capacity within the business
  • Experience as a business analyst 
  • A self-starter able to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to translate & implement requirements across different roles and sets of activities
  • Strong ability to build and maintain short and long term relationships within the organisation, both internally and with external parties as required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience in working in agile software environments
  • Hands on experience working with platform technology (advantageous)
  • Proficient IT skills - all Microsoft office products, Wealth management systems and able to pick up other systems/databases easily
