Automation Tester – SDET – Automation Framework A Technical Automation Tester is required by our client, a global asset management business. The purpose of the role is to join their brand-new QA function and provide expertise towards the development of a new automation framework.

This project is totally greenfield and there is currently no automation tool in place, therefore the Automation Tester will be involved in the development of this new automation framework from scratch, working closely with developers, and in the selection of suitable Automation tools (i.e. Selenium, Cucumber, QTP, FitNesse).

The successful Test Engineer will be comfortable working with APIs and experienced with testing all the layers of the client’s SQL Server database across the full software development life cycle (SDLC).

Because this is a non-established function, the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in unstructured QA environments and promoting the adoption of new processes and technologies.

The successful Automation Tester will be very technical, with a background in development (i.e. C#, .NET, Java), and they will have experience of developing Automation frameworks from scratch. They will also have contributed to the set up of a new QA function in a financial services or blue chip organisation.

Any experience with SQL / data warehouses is beneficial, as there is a second position available within the same team, specialising on data related projects.

If you feel you match these requirements, please send your CV. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
