Deloitte's UK Financial Services Internal Audit Practice provides a full range of high value Internal Audit services to many of the world's preeminent financial institutions, including Banks, Brokers, Insurers, Investment Managers, Investment & Pension funds, Private Equity businesses and many more.

Our Internal Audit leadership team is a group of professionals that have held senior roles in the UK’s Top Internal Audit functions as well as professionals with an in-depth knowledge of the respective industry from either a professional or industry background. Our team also has access to the full breadth of Deloitte's wider expertise in the UK and on a global basis.
Our core services include the following:
· Co-sourced Internal Audit Services (jointly with incumbent client Internal Audit team)
· Outsourced Internal Audit Services
· Reviews of the effectiveness of Internal Audit functions (general or targeted)
· Advice and training on methodology and financial services subject matter
We are looking to expand our team by of focused, aspirational and collaborative practitioners, and as such we are offering the opportunity to join as an Assistant Manager to support this challenging and rapidly expanding business. You will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client based projects. We work across industry specialisms – our clients are varied, and vary in location. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional clients. We specify full mobility for our audit roles but we make arrangements respectfully.
This is a permanent role. We do encourage careful consideration of agile ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. As a member of our team, reporting to a Senior Manager orDirector/ Partner, you will:
· Manage clientrelationships, planning and delivering a range of Internal Audit services
· Construct andsupervise audit teams
· Drive ourcontinuous improvement in our Internal Audit methodology
· Participate indevelopment of Deloitte's Internal Audit thought leadership
· Workeffectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people arerecognised for their contribution
· Experienceof working within, or with, the Internal Audit department of a large FinancialServices organisation
· Experienceof managing small to medium sized Audit engagements, leading Audit teams andreporting to business management
· Candidates willideally be qualified Internal Auditors or Accountants
· Knowledgeof Auditing techniques including Risk assessment, Audit scoping, devising Auditapproach, controls testing, substantive Audit testing including samplingtechniques
· Report writing,presentation and interpersonal skills including good written and verbalcommunications
· Management andorganisational skills
· Proven ability touse initiative, adapt and independently solve problems
