An exciting opportunity exists within our diverse and challenging Santander Internal Audit team. As a member of the Internal Audit department, we want you to support the Bank in realising its purpose and strategic goals through our vision, 'Internal Audit, Assuring the Future'.

We are pioneering new ways of auditing by embracing agile and developing new data analytics tools to support our activities and streamline our engagements.

As part of the Professional Practice team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the audit teams to deliver high quality audits and drive the continuous improvement of the department.

As a Professional Practices Audit Manager your main responsibilities will be

  • Supporting the continuous improvement of the function, in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Facilitating change within the department to transform the way we work, by developing and embracing innovative solutions.
  • Maintaining the Internal Audit Methodology and supporting guidance that encompasses industry best practice.
  • Developing and delivering the quality assurance strategy and plan which provides assurance over all aspects of the department.
  • Creating and delivering training to support the on-going development of knowledge and skills with the department.
  • Supporting the Annual and Quarterly Audit Planning Process.

Minimum skills and experience required

    • Experience of performing internal audits and / or quality assurance reviews.
    • Working knowledge of internal audit methodologies and best practice.
    • Able to build good working relationships and use these to influence a range of stakeholders at all levels.
    • Able to use innovative solutions to drive the continuous improvement of the department.

Our Triton Square office in London is conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.
