Here at Lloyds Banking Group we are recruiting two Audit Manager roles to work within the Commercial Banking Audit team.
At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities.
As an Audit Manager joining our Commercial Banking audit team, you'll both support and lead on the delivery of a wide range of audits, of varying scale and scope. You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders so that we audit what matters and you'll be involved from end to end with the planning and execution of the audit.
Applying the Group Audit methodology and standards, you'll identify and deliver high quality independent assurance. You'll work across the business and develop your network to understand and evaluate current and emerging business risks and how they may impact Commercial Banking.
Establishing and building relationships with stakeholders, you'll be educating the business in the control framework and influence business processes to deliver control improvements.
Delivering within agreed timescales, through collaboration with other colleagues, you'll ensure you keep relevant stakeholders updated on progress, escalating issues as required.
You'll be defining, proposing and completing testing of key controls for your assigned Audits to evaluate their operational effectiveness. You'll also be agreeing management actions to enhance and embed the control framework; ensuring the actions address the root cause of findings, are credible and fully supported by evidence
We'll also be looking for you to embrace continuous improvement through supporting change initiatives and help to drive higher performance through motivating, developing and collaborating within your own team.
We are looking for you to demonstrate an investment banking or commercial banking background, with a basic understanding of the products and channels relevant to these areas.
Whilst an assurance background in audit, risk or control would be beneficial, alternatively you may have expertise in the more operational or regulatory side of investment or commercial banking, that will enable you to understand the way in which these business operate and the potential risks that are relevant.
Adept at communicating well, you'll be able to tailor your style to a wide range of stakeholders and articulate your message in a straightforward way. You'll need to make sense of complex processes and represent our customer's perspective, to identify potential areas of risk.
What you must be able to demonstrate is a real appetite to progress and develop your career within audit. You'll receive full support and training from the day you join us, including opportunity to attain professionally recognised relevant qualifications.
And we've award-winning commitments to employing diverse and inclusive teams, reflective of the customers and communities we serve - where all our colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit. We can also offer you a comprehensive package that includes a performance share bonus, car allowance, generous pension and a flex package you can tailor to suit your world.
So, if you have the background and skills we are looking for then get in touch, we'd like to hear from you.
