We are working with a Top 10 global Real Estate private equity fund to hire an Associate for their European Asset Management team in London.

The firm is highly regarded, is very well capitalised and has been one of the most active Real Estate private equity investment firms in Europe in recent years.

They are seeking to hire an established Associate to focus on the management of the firm's opportunistic European portfolio.

Working in a small team with a flat structure the Associate will work with both internal and external teams to develop, implement and monitor strategic business plans to maximise the value of Real Estate platforms, portfolios and individual assets.

An outline of the role includes:

· Creating, implementing and monitoring strategic business plans including but not limited to asset / portfolio sales, refinancing, letting, refurbishment and development projects

· Liaise closely with and manage JV operating partners

· Updating and creation of financial models and analysis for re-forecasting purposes

· Evaluate capital improvements that will enhance the value of the portfolio

· Execute on identified initiatives to maximize operating performance and investor returns

· Working with the broader team, develop a framework with outside brokers around leasing strategies including evaluating individual tenant spaces in projects and negotiating lease transactions

· Work with property managers to develop, review, revise and approve property budgets and capital plans.

· Monitor and ensure property level debt compliance and determine if leverage level is appropriate

Experience & Skills Required:
· 3 - 6 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in Real Estate private equity asset management

· The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years Real Estate asset management experience within the European market

· Broad knowledge and experience across a wide range of Real Estate asset types

· Strong analytical skills

· Fluent Italian, French or Spanish language skills preferred

· Knowledgeable in the economic and demographic conditions in different European markets

· Ability to build stakeholder relationships and communicate with banks and investors

· Team oriented, approachable and strong networking and leadership skills

· Ability to work independently and to make recommendations to senior management
