Job Description:

The role of a Research Analyst will involve all aspects of research, including 1) financial modelling, 2) communicating with internal and external clients, 3) building relationships with corporates under coverage, etc. The demands on the analyst are sometime high and a demonstrated ability to deliver under pressure is essential.

Role description

  • Performing secondary research and information gathering on companies in the Software, IT Services & Internet Sector
  • Attending company conferences and industry event to gather data
  • Generating product sales forecasts and models.
  • Write reports/notes on companies under coverage
  • Interpret data and perform analysis on market, economic and political events
  • Contributing to industry and company research reports with both European and global research colleagues
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models

  • Bachelors' degree (or equivalent) with outstanding academic record
  • Experience working in a large, global investment banking environment
  • ACA or CFA
  • Strong technical experience with a background in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Demonstrable interest in the Software, IT Services & Internet Sector
  • Advanced level of MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong accounting, financial modelling/financial mathematical skills are required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Proven organizational and time management skills as well as ability to work under pressure
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • IT skills - Python, R, SQL, Excel VBA, Arduino, IoT and Bloomberg
