The Role: Associate, Marketing Operations
Location: London
The Team: You will join a very collegial and professional Global Marketing Operations team that optimizes processes, technology, data and analytics to power a high-performing Customer, Marketing and Education (CME) organization. The team works to drive alignment across the customer journey by managing critical, high-visibility projects across all subsets of CME, by using a wide variety of platforms.
The Impact: This role offers the unique opportunity to leverage the existing operational infrastructure and resourcing, as well as your entrepreneurial, analytical and creative thinking to evolve the Marketing Operations function in EMEA, while building a new framework for metrics and measurement for the Commercial Education organization. You will be in lockstep with the Marketing Ops, Segment Marketing and Education leadership teams in understanding the strategy and mapping priorities for execution. Over time, you will be responsible for developing and delivering insights and analysis throughout the funnel, primarily in support of the Education group, but with deliverables aligned to Segment Marketing as well, particularly EMEA specific initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of both the objective and optimization of Marketing and Education processes, metrics and tech stacks. You must possess the skills that allow you to take ownership of projects, and drive solid execution of all initiatives.
Responsibilities:

  • Benchmark, measure and analyze the Education and Marketing teams' performance across the entire customer experience, accurately tracking spend and impact on revenue, developing forecast models, and proactively identifying areas for improvement
  • Partner with Education and Marketing leadership and their teams to evolve our reporting framework to ensure alignment on reporting needs and initiatives
  • Communicate reporting methodology and results to key stakeholders; educate others on adopting results from reporting for decision making and planning purposes
  • Maintain an understanding of privacy and data regulations that affect the regions we engage in
  • Work with other internal stakeholders to improve insights from data collection and extraction from our commercial tech stack
  • Proactively identify gaps in marketing ops workflow/processes and work towards improvements
  • Ensure the timely deployment of initiatives and project success by managing processes, and program documentation to support execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a business, finance or data focus and/or related job experience preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing attribution methodology and advanced Excel
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving required with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to understand data to extrapolate patterns and enhance insights
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills; credibility with peer and executive-level interactions
  • History of working in a complex environment with multiple sources of customer data and integrated systems, to empower sales, marketing and/or sales enablement with useful information
  • Self-starter with demonstrated track record of initiative, creativity and innovation
  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team with minimal directions
  • PMP certification is a plus
