We are working with a leading energy & commodity trading firm. They invest in-house capital into traditional energy businesses and also into businesses related to energy transition.
They are looking for an Associate to support in the origination and execution of new investments.
This is an exceptional, rare and exciting opportunity to join and lead a well-capitalised private equity & VC investment platform.

What the job involves

• Financial modelling
• Researching and identifying macro trends within the carbon and climate tech / energy transition market
• Assisting with the sourcing and screening of new investments
• Assisting with the execution on investments end-to-end from initial screening through due diligence and closing
• Monitoring and supporting the portfolio companies post-investment, attending board meetings and making follow on investments

Who we are looking for

• Candidates with strong financial modelling skills
• Experience in investment banking
• First-rate education from a top tier institution
• Experience in relevant sectors, such as energy
