Associate Director - Enterprise Data Management EMEA
Join our Enterprise Data Management as a Director who will help to shape the strategy of our Data Management requirements for the Financial Management Group (FMG) in EMEA and the Americas

As an experienced leader this is a chance to showcase your experience in Enterprise Data Management, audit, risk management and regulatory reporting in a global and agile environment.

The Financial Management Group's Group Data Office is a centralised function responsible for the assessment, management, and governance of data risk within the division. This multi-faceted role will see you partner with key stakeholders to gain an understanding of the Financial Management Group's end to end data risk profiles and processes and act as a change agent in ensuring that the governance of data and associated risks are appropriately managed to meet the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

You will also take ownership of and lead a team responsible for delivering compliance to the groups' Enterprise Data Management requirements for FMG in EMEA and the Americas



You will lead senior stakeholder engagement and business partnering while developing and managing a team responsible for the following functions. You will drive the operationalisation of required frameworks to support the rollout of enterprise data policies/standards for EMEA and the Americas. In this role you will be at the forefront and will lead, manage, and develop a high performing team. You will bring a proactive can-do approach and your remit will also be to lead the implementation of data management capabilities and processes (e.g., Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master, and Reference Data Management). As a seasoned communicator you will be involved in stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation to understand priorities, risks, and issues. You will also develop and execute information management strategies and roadmaps.

Ideally you will bring the following skills to this role:



To be successful in this role you will have 10+ years financial services and data and risk management experience, ideally with extensive subject matter expertise in regulatory compliance from a data management standpoint. This experience will include in depth understanding of prudential regulatory requirements from a data and information management standpoint. This may include, but not limited to:

Your core Data Management knowledge will also ideally include:

  • Prudential regulatory reporting requirements
  • Data Risk Management
  • Risk data aggregation and reporting (BCBS 239)
  • GDPR


You will possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and oral), with proven influencing skills as well as experience with senior management and board reporting. Strong commercial acumen and judgement will be paramount including the ability to evaluate impact and response to emerging risks and changes in prudential requirements. As seasoned professional you will have experience in working within financial services or similar highly regulated industries. You will also have good program management experience of large-scale global programs across diverse jurisdictions.
