We are currently collaborating with one of the leading pan-European real estate businesses with investment and assets under management across a number of countries and asset classes. This organisation is continually growing and is regarded as one the most prominent employers in the industry. They are now looking to employ a bright and determined junior professional who can join as an Assistant Investment Manager to be responsible for the analysis and the reporting of a large portfolio of Retail and Office assets, for a value of around £ 2.5 Billion.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the Budget and Long Term Cash Flow model, and act as a central resource for all asset managers across the European portfolio
  • Take responsibility for the Quarterly Investment Report
  • Manage the valuation process of the 3 additional single assets and liaise with research team to benchmark portfolio valuations
  • Establish clear performance measurement processes and analysis across the portfolio
  • Provide clients with other quarterly reporting as required
  • Provide eventual support for other acquisitions, disposals and asset management initiatives

Skills

  • Real Estate experience is essential 
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent numerical skills and advanced in excel – able to build and understand complex cash flow models and provide punctual and easy to use portfolio analysis
  • Advanced PowerPoint – able to build clear and concise presentations to the Investment Committee, European colleagues and the Client in the USA
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Experience in working in Real Estate Investment or Financial Services Industry
  • CFA qualification is a plus
  • Team-player, self-confident, innovative and able to self-improve
