A fantastic opportunity - driven by growth - has arisen for an Asset Manager with prior UK Real Estate experience to join a flourishing Real Estate Fund and focus directly on the Fund's biggest client. This will be a pivotal role for the business as they seek to grow and take the business to the next level.

Due to its continued successes and expansion, my client is currently looking to fill an Asset Manager position within its team in London. Working closely with the Head of AM - the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of AM business plans, reporting, driving value-add initiatives and executing KPI’s across the various European businesses.  The Candidate will work alongside, and learn from, the highly qualified and experienced team in an exciting, fast–paced environment.

Role Description:

Day-to-day tasks will include:

·    Driving business plan execution across the European businesses

·    Co-ordinate reporting, bank covenant analysis and Investor information requirements

·    Actual v Budget analysis and detailed analysis on performance v market indicators and macro environment.  Work closely with the Finance team to deliver best in class AM process, reporting and analytics

·    Drafting presentations and strategic analysis for Investor meetings; and

·    Help to execute creative financing solutions on each platform.

Qualifications / Experience:

The ideal candidate will likely come from a real estate fund or private equity background with experience in Real Estate – ideally Residential .   They must be willing to work long hours in a fast–paced and high–pressure environment. In addition, the candidate will possess the following:

·       Outstanding academic Economics / Business degree from a top-tier university; Track record in managing a Real Estate Fund with direct ownership for business plan execution, Investor Reporting and financial fund management

·       Strong analytical and quantitative skills and demonstrated excellence in academic and extracurricular activities

·       Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and IT process / data management skills;

·       A strong working knowledge of financial models and corporate finance theory;

·       Strong organizational and analytical skills;

·       Excellent communication skills - both written and oral;

·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;

·       Able to work under tight deadlines; high level of attention to detail, both in numerical analysis and written reports

·       Able to manage several projects in parallel with minimal supervision.

·       With around 10+ years of experience, the candidate must demonstrate a strong track record of underwriting and asset managing complex real estate transactions across Europe
